Val Seefeldt

Director of Care

Val trained as a nurse in England before moving to Canada where she worked in home support for 27 years. She was co-owner of ElderSafe Home Support in Victoria, B.C., for 10 years and helped build the agency from the ground up; it became a $1 million business and was sold to St. Elizabeth Health Care.

Val has been nominated for her professional achievements, winning the Emerald Who’s Who Award in 2008 for Outstanding Career Achievement. She has worked as Director of Care at St. Charles Manor for the past three years, to which she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Melinda Morrison

Business Office Manager

Melinda has worked in health care administration for over 30 years. Living on Vancouver Island with her family since 1996, she worked with ParaMed in administration and accounting before bringing her strong attention to detail and professional expertise to St. Charles Manor. Melinda has been with St. Charles Manor for over 10 years and is the face to meet you with a smile at our doors.

Sarah Voldeng

Director of Support Services

With more than 20 years in health care, Sarah originally graduated from the University of Victoria, specializing in food service and nutrition. She has worked in both hospitals and long-term care, and has been with Trillium for more than five years.

Originally a contractor for Trillium, Sarah has transitioned from nutritionist to Support and Food Services Manager. She is an active CSNM member and brings passion and innovation to the quality of food and services provided in geriatric demetia care.
